Hi! I am Tyelor J. R. Martin,

a photographer based in Norfolk, VA. I create portraits, stories, and creative concepts to help you feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely seen.

I believe great images come from a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply be yourself. I guide when needed and step back when the moment speaks on its own.

My work is shaped by painting, art history, design, and the creative communities I’m part of. I also serve as the president of my university’s photography club, where I mentor other student artists.

You’ll find a range of styles in my portfolio because I don’t work in just one lane. Some days call for softness; others call for something bold. Staying open to both keeps me curious and true to my craft.

A few things about me:

• Photography is my fast lane: energizing and alive. Painting is my quiet place, slow and grounding. Together, they shape how I see and create.

• Music is always playing while I work, especially alternative and R&B ballads.

• I enjoy museums, new creative spaces, and anything that sparks curiosity.

If you’re searching for imagery that feels genuine, warm, and thoughtfully crafted—or something cutthroat, edgy, and bold—you’re in the right place.
